1. Don’t eat processed foods and white carbs. Most white foods are not natural or are easily digested carbs which are quickly turned into fat.

2. By-pass fast food restaurants. This one’s easy. If you don’t have to get out of your car, then speed on by.

3. Reduce your portions. Cutting your portions in half is a good place to start. If you are a restaurant you can go even further and only eat a third of the portion.

4. Eat small meals four to six times a day.

Interval training is the solution. Interval training consists of short intense workouts performed three days a week with a day or two of rest in between workouts. Interval training is performed by doing a short, intense interval at close to your maximum effort followed by a longer rest interval. This sequence is repeated eight to ten times. Interval training on the treadmill is a great way to get started. Warm-up for two to three minutes at a low intensity level. Then increase speed of treadmill so that you are at about 80% to 90% of your maximum effort for thirty seconds. Decrease the intensity to 20% of your maximum for two minutes. Repeat this sequence eight times.

With a combination of diet and exercise you can get those flat six pack abs you want. Use super foods and interval training to get your middle in shape. In no time you will start to see your abs and then one day you will start getting compliments about your amazing flat six pack abs.
