<p>For many people this is a lot harder because their bodies are not used to this, but in reality almost anyone can build body muscle albeit there are no diseases or medical conditions preventing it. That said, you might have tried many ways to build body muscle but always came up short. What we will be looking at are some less conventional ways that you can go about doing this.</p>
<p>One of the major things I have noticed as lacking in those who are trying to build muscle is either a sluggish metabolism or the bodies’ inability to adapt to the weight lifting or exercising regime. There are many causes for this, but it is safe to assume that unless body metabolism is kept to the optimal level, fat and proteins will not be burned (synthesized) and thus will sit like heavy bricks on the body instead of leading to weight loss.<span></span></p>
<p>So you might ask, how to fix this? Assuming that the individual is already on a workout regime, it can be just a matter of diet change. Contrary to popular opinion, a high protein diet does not guarantee exceptional performance in building muscle and endurance. Rather, the body requires a balanced diet, one that includes lots of carbohydrates. There have been many a successful stories of vegetarians and vegans successfully building body mass. The science behind this reasoning is pretty simple, the human body was built for a vegetarian/vegan diet, and when such a diet is in place, coupled with a proper bodybuilding plan, it can work wonders.</p>
<p>Of course, to many bodybuilders, this might sound like idiotic reasoning, but it’s worth a try and so far I am yet to hear of a person who switched to a vegan/vegetarian diet to help build body mass and it didn’t help. As for protein, the protein in beans, nuts etc. are of a higher grade than that of meat and so the body is able to utilize it a lot better than that of a meat.</p>
<p>Another unconventional way to build body muscle is marathon bodybuilding. I will warn you, most weight trainers do not endorse this and I wouldn’t advise a person to do this for more than three weeks as it does put stress on the body.</p>
<p>Basically the program works like this, you workout two times a day six days a week for 2-3 weeks. It is understandable that this is something that most people’s body are not used to, however, those who have used it have documented major success in building muscle. The science behind this program is that after a week or so on this program, along with a proper nutrition plan, the body has to adjust itself because it is using up considerable more calories than it was used to. This requires it to put more effort into muscle building in order to keep up with your workouts and thus muscle builds over time. Generally it is not advisable to try this unless you are on vacation or have a light schedule because it is very taxing on the body.</p>
<p>The last piece of advice is a little less unconventional, but is often overlooked by many when it comes to bodybuilding. Basically, this involves losing body fat since body fat can prevent muscle gain. Needless to say, this is easier said than done, but we will focus on a few ideas to help you do this. Before starting a weight lifting regime, start with cardio. Jumping rope, running, walking, jogging, bicycling etc. are all great. Continue to do this to burn off that excess fat and thus prepare the body for what will inevitably come later on, the workouts.</p>
<p>Contrary to popular belief, you cannot turn fat into muscle or muscle into fat. Their composition or completely different chemically and thus the only way to lose fat is to burn it and in the process the body will replace it with muscle. The opposite is true. Slacken off a workout or exercise plan and muscle mass decreases and fat builds.</p>

<p>Can vegetarians build muscle is the first question asked by almost every vegetarian that doesn&#8217;t want to be stick thin their entire lives. While this is a very common concern for most vegetarians who want to build muscle, the truth is that most people don&#8217;t get good information. Here I&#8217;ll show you how you can build muscle, even if you are a strict vegetarian.</p>
<p>There have been numerous examples of people who build muscle on vegetarian diets, the most well known of which is a guy named Bill Pearl. Bill Pearl is a famous vegetarian body builder who went on to win the title of Mr. Universe in both 1953 and 1971. Pearl is a lacto-ovo vegetarian, so he eats eggs and dairy products to aid in his muscle building.</p>
<p>What Kinds of food do you eat?</p>
<p>If you eat eggs and dairy and are a lacto-ovo vegetarian like Mr. Pearl, then you are in luck. Eggs are a great muscle building food. Eggs are high in protein and healthy fats that help your body rebuild muscle fibers. Cows milk also contains these healthy fats and proteins.</p>
<p>For the strict veggie lovers</p>
<p>If you are a strict vegetarian, there are a few steps you can take to be certain that you will still build muscle mass.</p>
<p>Protein</p>
<p>Adding a protein supplement to your diet will help your muscles rebuild after workouts. You can also eat more tofu and soy milk in your recipes to ensure you have enough protein in your diet.</p>
<p>Fat</p>
<p>Most vegetarians don&#8217;t get enough fat in their diet. To fix this, eat a few handfuls of nuts throughout the day. Almonds, pistachios and cashews are great for protein and fat. You should also consider adding a tablespoon of flax seed oil to your diet as it contains linolenic acid, an essential amino acid for muscle building.</p>
<p>Vitamins</p>
<p>Even though you may look healthy, many vegetarians are vitamin deficient in a vitamin called B12. To remedy this, you can add a B12 supplement to your diet or drink a soy or whey based meal replacement drink. These drinks usually give you at least 1/3 of your daily recommended vitamins and minerals.</p>
<p>Can Vegetarians build muscle? Of Course. It may not be the perfect diet for body building, but you can do it if you follow the above advice. All you need now is a good muscle building plan.</p>

<p>When super slim body shapes are in, it may seem strange to those wanting to lose weight, to find some people work for a body builder look. To build bigger muscle is not for the sole intention of looking good, but rather to have a healthy and energetic body.</p>
<p>There are many ways to have great big muscles but the most common of which is to undergo a muscle building exercise program. These programs initially work on weight gain then move on to enhancing your muscles in no time. Usually it&#8217;s a bundle of some muscle-firming exercises like weight lifting, supplementing, nutrition, and injury protection. The steps to take in these programs are repetitive, enjoyable, and quick to follow. There&#8217;s just one thing you have to be cautious about and that&#8217;s when you have a personal trainer. You have to ensure that your personal trainer is a certified pro and not some con gymnast who claims you need to prolong your program for more pay.</p>
<p>There are those who say that homemade is best made. It&#8217;s still applicable to losing weight and toning muscles. You can do the best muscle building techniques in the privacy of your home and still get the best results. It&#8217;s not necessary that you submit yourself to a grueling trainer and get stuck in a cramped gym environment. You can use common techniques like calisthenics. You can do push-ups, pull-ups and some crunches daily. You can do these with a couple of weight lifting, starting from an empty bar and progressing toward heavier weights. All of these are done in the privacy of your home where you can have peace of mind and comfort.</p>
<p>You can also increase the strength, firmness and tone of your muscles by using free weights. Barbells are suitable for heavy lifting and can give the desired muscle stress level. The higher the stress level means you can build bigger muscle. Dumbbells can be used for maintenance exercises instead of being for main lifts.</p>
<p>When you have a personal goal of looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger&#8217;s physique, you will have to start from scratch. You will have to start from scratch. Simple and compound exercises that target several muscle groups are perfect to begin with. When you have had a solid foundation you can shift and use isolation exercises. Now it should be self explanatory why this is step by step process.</p>
<p>For someone who wants a truly muscular body, one has to remember that he needs to train his legs by doing proper squats regularly. He should do it as frequently as 1.5 times his body weight. When he does squats, he should do it properly with his hips lower than his knees. Usually body builders are known to be health conscious, even if most of them aim for the muscles more than they do for health. It might be because most of them know it well that proper diet, enough rest and sleep and enough water intake can hasten muscle development than mere exercise without the right sustenance.</p>
<p>The best muscle building technique so far is to gain weight by eating a lot. You might say that this is quite easy except that you will have to do this while taking a lot of protein-rich foods. Skipping breakfast is not allowed. Instead you need to load up on some carbohydrates in the morning. The first and only commandment to remember in body building is persistence. When it feels like you are going to die if you lift those weights, just think of the rewards you will reap, going to the beach clad in your fabulous trunks with everyone drooling at you, for that taut body build.</p>

<p>In a nutshell, you need to know what to eat, when to eat and how to workout, to get desired results. Just reading up things from popular body building magazines and trying them tirelessly without desired results can be quite frustrating. When you are thin and not prone to putting on weight, you need a whole new game plan to gain muscle mass, from the techniques regular bodybuilders use. You need to chart out a routine that would work for you; a combination of weight training,weight lifting techniques, cardiovascular exercises and more. A bodybuilder usually has a good physique and is only aiming towards enhancing it. For you, however, things would be little different.</p>

You can eat 6000 calories and still not gain weight if you don&#8217;t eat what is needed by your body. So joining a hardgainer program might be a good idea for you as not only will these programs give you the correct exercises you need to do but also give you a whole list of stuff available in the market, that you need to eat to gain the weight you want.</p>
<p>So, as you can see, just working out rigorously won&#8217;t help you out one bit. This is simply because you are not of an average body structure, so your body will gain solid mass only when you give it the right amount of care, in terms of nutrients. Yes, food is as important in this weight gain regimen as exercises are, that is probably why you have been trying out all possible workouts but still staying the same.</p>
<p>So now that you know the secret to getting the body you have always wanted, and also know what was going wrong in your workout regimen, get that o-so-perfect body and exude charisma like never before. <p>Solid food is a great readily available body building food. If you add this in with your diet you will have wonderful results. The natural foods which contain proteins include whey, egg white and soya beans. These three build your muscles and make you fit.</p>
<p>Proteins contain essential amino acids that are very essential for the growth of each and every cell, tissue and muscle in our body. The active sportsmen, athletes and people who exercise a lot need these body building foods to improve their muscle strength and to keep their body strong.</p>
<p>These body building foods will help muscles repair and get stronger after a workout. Proteins are not only needed for sportsmen and athletes, people of all age groups need body building foods.
