			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>You will find that chest exercises are one of the most frequent exercises performed down the gym and are very important if you are trying to get rid of your man boobs.</p>
<p>The chest muscles basically are made up of two muscles which lie on top of the ribs on the chest wall, the pectorals minor and major.They consist of two main muscles, the pectoralis minor muscle which lies against the rib cage and then on top of this is the bigger pectoralis major. The larger muscle is usually what gives the chest its size and appearance.</p>
<p>The chest is one of the main big muscle groups within the body and is frequently thought of as a good sign of masculinity. Good strong pectoral muscles will often provide good overall upper body strength and fitness which is also important in a variety of sports.</p>
<p>Many chest workouts not only focus on the chest wall but also work the triceps muscles at the back of the arms as well as the shoulder muscles. Therefore, doing a chest workout will develop the overall shape and size of the upper body.</p>
<p>Warming up before performing any of these exercises is very important to reduce the chances of injury. A particularly effective aerobic exercise is rowing on an indoor machine. It is great at stretching the upper body muscles. It will also promote the blood flow to the muscles getting them ready for the workouts thereby lowering the risk of injury.</p>
<p>The push up is one of those simple chest exercise workouts that works well. This does not require any special equipment or weights and can quite easily be done at home in the bedroom. You should lie flat, face down on the floor with your arms around shoulder width apart. Then, keeping your toes on the ground and body straight, slowly lift yourself up. When you reach the top you can then, again slowly, lower yourself down and then repeat the whole process over again.</p>
<p>If you find this exercise a little difficult at first, an effective trick is to keep your knees in contact with the floor instead of the toes. When lowering yourself back down towards the floor make sure you perform this slowly as it will also exercise the same muscles. As you improve, one way to ,make this exercise more difficult is to move your hands slightly wider than shoulder width.</p>
<p>The bench press is a common exercise performed in the gym and is excellent. Lying flat on your back on a bench hold the barbell out at arms length. A training partner during this exercise is advisable to avoid injuries. Then slowly lower the barbel down to the chest and then again slowly, push it back up until the arms are outstretched.</p>
<p>It is vital to not perform any jerky movements or bounce the weights off the chest wall. Three sets of around eight repetitions once to twice a week is optimal and you will soon notice a change in your chest shape.</p>

<p>Intensity is vital if you want to gain weight quickly. Consider each set you do as if it is your last. Make sure every rep counts. Use a stopwatch to ensure that you don&#8217;t cheat with your rest periods.</p>
<p>If you are going to gain weight quickly you need your muscles to grow. For this to occur you need to give your muscles a reason to grow. This will only happen if you continually increase your work. If you just train at the same level all the time there is nothing to generate muscle growth.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be fooled by bodybuilding and fitness magazines. Most of it is just recycled information repackaged to sell magazines. The truth is that there are two forms of training that are major components of a successful weight training program.</p>
<p><strong>1. HEAVIER, HEAVIER, HEAVIER!</strong> Do put everything into lifting heavier and heavier weights. This will make you as strong as possible. Use only one compound exercise per major muscle group and focus on a 5% increase in strength from week to week.</p>
<p><strong>2. MORE WORK, MORE WORK, MORE WORK!</strong> Hard work and putting your body under stress is the key. This means forcing your body to do as much work possible, in the shortest time possible. This will result in maximum muscle growth! It is important to find the optimum balance between workload and training time. Spending hours at the gym does not necessarily mean more training. Work with slower tempos but lift as close as you can to your maximum weight, and take shorter rest periods.</p>
<p><strong>Stop program hopping!</strong> It might seem like good economics to test drive a program for a few weeks, then say it does not work and move on to the next one. However it&#8217;s a false economy. It&#8217;s you indulging in the blame game and neglecting your responsibility! Would you expect that you will become rich if you test out a new investment for a few weeks but call it quits when the return does not meet your expectations? No, you have to stay in for the longer term and then, if you have chosen wisely, the full benefits will follow. The same is true of a fitness program. Stick with it and you will gain weight quickly.</p>
<p>In truth most programs work if followed correctly. Research your program fully and check that the program goals are aligned with yours. Then follow it closely, believe in it. Make sure that you monitor your results so that you can take confidence in your progress. You will find that what you gain from following one program consistently over a good period of time will be invaluable.</p>

It is the one exercise most guys think of when they want to get a stronger chest, and for good reason too. But, there&#8217;s another little body building secret that used to be a standard part of your average body builders&#8217; chest workout &#8211; the pullover.</p>
<p>To perform a pullover, you need to lie on a flat bench and hold a dumbbell over your chest with two hands. You then bend your elbows and slowly lower the weight towards your head; stopping when your elbows have reached a 90 degree angle past your head. The rep is complete after you bring the dumbbells back up above your chest.</p>
<p>While you may not see this exercise done very much, it is a real classic. The problem with most guys who workout their chest is that they don&#8217;t always workout their entire chest or, they might only workout some muscles in their chest a very small amount.</p>
<p>While the pectoralis muscles typically always get worked on, the more subtle chest muscles like the subclavius and serratus, which are below the pecs, hardly get any attention. This is a big mistake, because those muscles give your arms and shoulders more maneuverability, ideal for pushing and punching.</p>
<p>The main benefits of pullovers are that they stretch and expand your rib cage and put resistance on the entire upper body. Therefore, pullovers will help build a bigger and wider rib cage and chest.</p>
<p>Another benefit of pullovers is that they can be done at home with hardly any equipment. You don&#8217;t need a bench and upright racks to hold the bar that a normal bench press needs. In fact, they can simply be done with a barbell or a pair of adjustable dumbbells.</p>
<p>Both are as good as each other, so no need to analyze which one is better than the other. Again, because you don&#8217;t have a rack, it&#8217;s important to not use weights that you can&#8217;t comfortably manage, otherwise you may hurt yourself.</p>
<p>Besides, the chest pullover is supposed to stretch your body and not be a heavy lifting exercise. It is advisable to take your time doing it properly and safely. Just start off with a relatively light weight and work your way up until you get to a comfortable weight.</p>

<p>1.Have a pre work out meal. It is not advisable to eat a full meal before working out in the gym. Eat a carbohydrate-rich protein meal to provide you all the energy you will need in your exercise. Remember that carbohydrates provide the energy and endurance that you need to sustain long training. Consume your meal two hours before your training.</p>
<p>2.Lower your stress hormones in the body. It is not advisable to work out after a fight with your partner. This is also the reason why you need to eat before your training. During training, you exert effort in lifting up and an added stress is not anymore helpful.</p>
<p>3.Avoid free radicals in your body. Free radicals are taken from population, smoking, alcohol, radiation and so many more.
