<p>You can achieve this intensity by doing breakdown or drop sets. Rep out, drop the weight, then continue for more reps until you cannot do another rep. You can also achieve this by going for your maximum number of reps, then you conclude with ten more reps. You take short rest periods by locking out the weight-bearing joint without laying down the weight. In short, thoroughly exceed your usual discomfort and energy thresholds.</p>
<p>If you are able to really work your muscles as described above, there is very little advantage to doing another set. An exception to this would be working on body parts that have distinct geographical areas such as the legs, back and chest.</p>

<p>Vince makes it clear that supplements simply do not work. Do not waste your money and time hoping a pill, shake or powder will solve all your muscle-building dilemmas. Most have very small results and only if you are working out every spare moment you get!</p>
<p>You also need to know that most programs that discuss &#8220;shocking&#8221; muscles or &#8220;feeling the burn&#8221; are also bogus. You do not have to hurt yourself to build muscle fast. <p>Constructing a safe and effective routine with a trained professional that produces results quickly is important when a teen as well as an adult starts a bodybuilding workout program.</p>
<p>Once teen athletes get involved in bodybuilding, they develop the discipline and dedication that can be beneficial in any sport. Teenagers with low self esteem or confidence issues may see a remarkable difference after taking up teenage bodybuilding.</p>
<p>Physical benefits that accompany teenage bodybuilding include increased muscular strength and endurance, increased kinesthetic awareness, stronger bones and a reduced risk for weight related illnesses such as high blood pressure and diabetes.</p>
<p>Long after these teenage athletes mature into adults the mental and physical benefits of bodybuilding will continue. Bodybuilding, like most athletics, gives teens something to focus on and helps develop self esteem.</p>
<p>Stunted growth has been a great concern of teenage bodybuilding. This theory has never been proven, plus if teenage bodybuilding is performed correctly under adult guidance, injury chances are significantly less.</p>
<p>The bottom line to weighing the risks and benefits of teenage bodybuilding, as with any sport, is that with proper training and supervision bodybuilding can be a safe and effective way for teens to improve physical health and mental strength. There are safety issues inherent to any sport; however, adult participation and athlete education go a long way in minimizing the risks</p>
<p>A lot of people have asked me: how is teen bodybuilding done right? do you think that teenage bodybuilders should get a professional to train them or is it safe to learn from other teens? Should teen bodybuilders read the latest bodybuilding magazines? Does the train come everyday or just on alternate days? Rely on supplements? When is the appropriate time to start? Concentrate on lifting heavy weights to increase endurance? There are strong ideas on both sides of the teen bodybuilding debate.</p>
