			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many people associate weight loss with being hungry all the time. They&#8217;re afraid to start a weight loss diet plan because they want to avoid the frustrations of hunger.</p>
<p>Some people think is it is best to be overweight than to be constantly hungry. I am one of those people. I love to eat and I would not want to be hungry all the time just to lose weight. What type of life would you have if you always feel hungry?</p>
<p>Our body is geared to urge us to eat when we feel hunger. The feeling of hunger is the signal to our body that danger is near and that it requires food. Our instinct for self preservation causes us to consume all sorts of food when our bodies feel starved.</p>
<p>Our bodies do not know that we inhabit the world at a time when food is easy to get. It reacts the exact way it used to when we had to hunt for any food we ate. Basically we should not fight this instinct that is there to keep up us from dying from starvation.</p>
<p>Surprisingly, no one needs to feel hungry to achieve weight loss. Quite the opposite is true in fact, eating meals at regular intervals and allowing yourself to be full encourages you to stay with a healthy diet program and attain your goal weight. Making sure your hunger stays at bay will keep you from overeating. This will keep you from being frustrated, not being in control, and feeling miserable.</p>
<p>Consume 5 to 6 smaller meals frequently during the day instead of just 3 larger meals. If your meals are too far apart then you start getting that starved feeling, and will eat too much when your meal does come around. Consuming meals that are smaller and eating them more often lets you stay full and keeps you in control.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t ever miss meals. People do this thinking they will lower their intake of calories, but the reverse actually occurs. Due to being too long without food you wind up making up for it anyway somewhere later on the same day. Your metabolism will also slow down with skipping meals because your body thinks it has had all the calories it needs. This is how the body survives because it burns a lower amount of calories.</p>
<p>Another tip is slow down eating. The body does not tell itself it is full for about 20 minutes. When you eat too fast you can eat way too many calories before your body signals that it is full, because it is still saying it is hungry. Before you know you&#8217;re full you are actually too full because of overeating. But when you slowly enjoy your meal, then your brain has a chance to signal your body that it is full, and it is time to quit eating before you over consume.</p>
<p>Never starve yourself in pursuit of weight loss. There&#8217;s absolutely no need for it. Get used to the idea that losing weight does not require being hungry.</p>
<p>Losing weight in a healthy way does not involve starving or deprivation. That&#8217;s why it is permanent, if you lose weight in a healthy way, you&#8217;re likely to keep it off for good.</p>

<p>For example, you might not want to build a ripping set of abs with your diet program &#8230; you just want to lose a few pounds to fit into a new dress or suit. There are two things to pay attention to &#8211; diet and exercise &#8211; in order to lose weight quickly. This, I&#8217;m sure comes as no surprise, but there are ways and things you can do to increase the effectiveness of your diet and exercise programs.</p>
<p>The following tips will help you rev up your fat burning engine and get rid of those unwanted pounds more quickly.</p>
<p>1. Add plenty of fiber to your daily diet. The fat burning process is help with fiber and promotes general good health. A good 25 grams of fiber each day is what you should aim for. Ten grams of fiber is the average for Americans today. Fiber is obtained by adding whole wheat breads, cereals, pastas, fruit, vegetables and nuts.</p>
<p>2. Don&#8217;t go to bed hungry, but choose a good snack. Certain foods keep your body from burning fat. Eating foods like white breads and pastas, fruit, juice, and others that are loaded with simple carbs may actually cause your body to increase its fat deposits while you sleep. If you feel hungry before bed, eat a vegetable.</p>
<p>3. East smaller portions, but more meals. Smaller meals throughout the course of the day keeps hunger at bay. Eat salad before you have your main course. This helps to fill you up and you will eat less and feel less tempted to eat everything on your plate.</p>
<p>4. The amount of food does matter. Americans have a poor sense of the size of a portion to be served. Learn to portion control your meals. By using a smaller plate you will serve a smaller portion and eat slowly.</p>
<p>5. Before you exercise, eat. This helps maximize the benefits of your workout. Snack on low carb foods, but high in protein. This can help you exercise longer than usual and in a more intense way. This results in more calories being burned away. Snack 90 minutes before your workout. Sooner results in the reverse effect.</p>
<p>6. Breath through your nose and practice exhaling and inhaling through you nose. It helps your stamina by stabilizing your heart rate. Allowing you to exercise more and this results in more calories being burned off.</p>
<p>7. Interval training &#8211; for example &#8211; walking. Walk at a brisk pace then slow down and walk for three minutes. Gradually increasing the time of your brisk walking pace. If you want to break into running this is a good way to begin. Burning off calories and fat will be faster.</p>
<p>8. Weights, then cardio. Your body takes about 15-20 minutes to warm up. If you do your weights first, by the time you do your cardio, your body is primed to go. You&#8217;ll burn more calories. Don&#8217;t forget to do some stretching before you start the weight training.</p>
<p>9. What is the spice of life? Variety. The same goes for any weight or exercise program. Doing the same thing day after day dooms you to a plateau in weight loss. You must add variety. An exercise routine must add a mix of strength, flexibility and cardio workouts to be effective. Your body becomes accustomed to the same routing over and over again, therefore it becomes less effective and the results are fewer calories are burned.</p>
<p>10. Add weights to lose weight. Adding weights to your routine helps you burn more calories and build stronger muscles. Even adding some bicep curls while you&#8217;re on your treadmill can help you see results sooner.</p>
