			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you want to become much fitter, first you need to plan out your goals, workouts and diet. These are the essential elements that you won&#8217;t be able to have massive success without.</p>
<p>What you want to do right in the beginning (even before you go to the gym for the first time) is create some goals. It&#8217;s best to make them relatively easy to get oto and date them for a month or two in the future.</p>
<p>When your making these goals for the first time, it doesn&#8217;t really matter that much how you do them. Just put down something which you would like to be doing in a months time and date it.</p>
<p>As you get more experienced with goal setting, you can make some long term ones. The problem with these is that they are less motivational when your just starting out so begin with short term ones.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve set these up, you&#8217;ll want to get some experience with different exercises and fitness machines. So I suggest you go to your local gym and test some out.</p>
<p>Now that you&#8217;ve got a good idea how all the machines work and what you need to do on each one, pick out a few that you like. If you can find between 9 and 12 different workouts that each push different parts of your body, then you&#8217;ve got the makings of a workout routine.</p>
<p>You should now get started with an eating plan. This is probably the most critical factor in becoming fit and healthy as your body depends of getting lots of good nutrition to get you there. So find some healthy foods which you also actually like eating and write them down.</p>
<p>For example, I really like eating watermelon when it&#8217;s in season. This is also packed full of vitamin C and lots of other great stuff. I have also developed a taste for some other exotic and very healthy foods like Okra.</p>

<p>Although we will talk about exercise in the later stages of this article, eating healthily is vital to obtaining the dream body that you have always wanted. If you exercise for an hour every day and then eat high fat and unhealthy foods, you will not see any gains at all.</p>
<p>Another important aspect to think about is your mindset. Do you really want to spend time at the gym or working out at home to define your abs? If you do not have any get up and go or any goals then this will be very difficult. Something helpful for a lot of people in this situation is to set a goal that they can try to reach.</p>
<p>If you are able to find a vision in your mind of how you would eventually like to look or feel about yourself then this can also help greatly. It has been proven that for those who have such goals, they are much more likely to achieve them. Those who just exercise for fun tend to lose less weight and become less defined in turn.</p>
<p>A good way to make sure that you balance your body perfectly is to split it into different muscle groups. On your first day of exercise, do you stomach, on the next do your arms and the following day focus on your legs. This way you will become evenly toned and not look off balance.</p>
<p>Should you have any excess fat around your stomach area then any muscles that you do have will not show. To enhance this area, do a lot of cardio work outs which will burn this fat away and leave your belly looking more toned, defined and healthy.</p>
<p>How you choose to train is up to you. Some prefer to use a gym and pay a monthly fee, others with a good level of enthusiasm choose to work out at home and run in their local area all for free instead. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Unfortunately, if life were a baseball game, most women would not be touching each of the fitness bases as they run around the field. Many of us are just too hectic to focus any part of our day on our health, weight, or looks. There are commitments to family, friends, and our job that are constantly pulling at us.</p>
<p>Many of us have taken short drastic trips to the diet and exercise arena only to quit after a few weeks. Weight may come off with a diet, but quickly gets tedious and hard to stick with. Exercise programs that are structured are just too difficult to maintain when a timetable must be flexible to accommodate the needs of others. But, if there were a way to get healthy that would not require major changes, a healthier lifestyle would be better.</p>
<p>Taking a holistic approach to diet and working out and starting slow enough to allow our bodies to adjust as we go will help us to be healthy and slender. This program is not a wonder diet that will make you drop a specific number of pounds. You will lose weight because you are getting healthier. You will start looking better because you are exercising more. Diet and working out are inter-connected and work together to create the body that we want.</p>
<p>Starting a journal with our important information in it will be a great way to measure progress. Putting in actual weight, BMI, what we eat, how much we eat, and energy we are currently use will give a complete picture of where we are. From this picture it is easy to set a plan into motion to change it.</p>
<p>A healthy diet and exercise program does not require that you weight yourself each day. When people start exercising and strengthening their bodies they begin to build muscle mass. Muscle weighs more than fat so the scales may show a person is gaining weight when they are actually losing fat.</p>
<p>Starting an working out program that will work up to thirty minutes a day will help you to stick with it. By starting off with a fifteen minute walk to the corner and back, you can gradually build up to 30 minute walks. When walking is not a challenge any more move to jogging. Each time that the thirty minute working out becomes less of a challenge do something different.</p>
<p>Diet is going to be a sneaky game that you play with your brain to keep it from throwing up obstacles as you are switching out bad foods for healthy foods. Start by replacing snacks with fresh fruits and vegetables. The body becomes addicted to many of the chemicals in processed foods and refined sugar. Most diets tell people to stop eating those foods immediately. Instead of stopping food cold turkey, just swap out healthier foods in small portions.</p>
<p>Increasing meals to five each day will keep you from getting hungry at any point during the day. The extra 2 meals can be healthy foods and the 3 other meals can be cut down portions of what you regularly eat. As you get used to eating healthy foods, start switching the foods on your 3 bad plates with healthy alternatives. Over the course of a couple of weeks you will be eating healthy with no withdrawal from the chemicals of processed foods that you have stopped eating.</p>

<p>When considering your overall health and fitness level cardiovascular exercise is just as important as anaerobic, lifting weights. Cardio workouts are responsible for getting your heart rate up and increasing the blood flow through your entire body.</p>
<p>Basically cardiovascular exercise is something for the entire body in that you should work up a sweat, breathe a bit harder and get your heart rate jumping all at the same time, at least ideally.</p>
<p>A good cardio routine has many benefits the number one being working the most important muscle and organ of the body, the heart. During cardio workouts, you should raise your pulse rate and keep it raised for a minimum time period, which increases your fitness and thereby increases overall health and well-being.</p>
<p>It cannot be stressed enough that before you begin an exercise program you should see the doctor. Your physician can check to make sure there are no medical reasons why you cannot begin a rigorous fitness regimen.</p>
<p>The best side effect of doing regular cardio workouts is what is known the world over, this type of exercise burns those extra calories and aids you in losing weight. And if that were not enough you get an overall body tone in the process.</p>
<p>The benefits of a cardio routine do not stop there! Not only will you burn extra calories during your workout but also you will continue to burn more calories when at rest. Recent studies suggest that this added burn can continue for up to 18 hours after you complete your routine.</p>
<p>In the course of becoming fit and toning your body, it will begin to burn calories faster as a natural reaction. This is because when your body is getting fit you lose weight, more importantly fat and gain muscle tissue. Muscles are scientifically proven to burn more calories even when you are asleep!</p>
<p>There seems to be no end to the good benefits of cardiovascular exercise as it can also be a depression buster. Exercise stimulates the release of a hormone called endorphins. These are your body&#65533;s natural opiates and are sometimes called the feel good hormone.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;ve been sedentary for a long period of time, DON&#8217;T all of a sudden become a weekend warrior determined to conquer the enemy. You will only hurt yourself and will set yourself back, because if you get injured, you&#8217;ll have to have time to heal. This will thwart any plans you have to get in shape.</p>
<p>Be sure that you visit your physician before you start a routine to be sure you are ready for vigorous activities. Even once you receive a green light from your doctor, you should not barge into a full-blown hour workout. The best thing you can do is start slow and small by taking a brisk ten-minute walk every day. Do not get discouraged if ten minutes is a bit much, five minutes is a good starting place as well. The main idea is to get moving and increase your exercise as you go.</p>
<p>At about the two-week mark you will begin to notice something peculiar happening. You will all of a sudden have more energy, better sleep and fewer cravings for junk foods. Overall, you will simply feel better. One surprising effect will be when you notice your attitude and mood are much more positive.</p>
<p>While you are moving closer and closer toward becoming fit, you may find you need to challenge yourself more. This is the only way to insure you keep your fitness level up and progressing. When you do cardiovascular workouts, there are two things that should always occur, sweat and increased breathing. Shoot for a minimum of 20 minutes per day for at least five days out of seven.</p>
<p>After getting started on a good cardio routine, you are naturally going to want to change a few other things. Eating right, sleeping enough, hydration and many other good health changes will only increase the benefits of your cardiovascular workouts. You will never want to turn back once you have a solid start on cardio.</p>

<p>Millions of people are trying to lose weight. However, not everyone who tries to go down at least one size become successful with it. There are many effective forms in which one can try to get a slimmer figure. Diet and exercise are just two of the ways that you can sure practice to help you get in shape. But, problems occur in instances where we get too excited of becoming slimmer that we want fast results. And so, we resort to crash diets and exercise malpractice and even weight loss pills which are readily available in the market.</p>
<p>As I have noted, engaging in a healthy diet is one of the effective ways to attain fitness. However, you should remember some things before engaging in this natural way of weight loss to be able to get it right. </p>
<p>Do&#8217;s:</p>
<p>Water is a key. Water is the universal solvent. And it is true in a lot of ways especially in eliminating toxic materials inside our system. Preventing us from dehydration, drinking a glass of water before eating can also help those on a diet to feel full so eventually eat less.</p>
<p>Keep what you eat on track! Keep a food journal with you through the process. It will help you be reminded of the food that is friendly during this time of diet. It will also help you stick to the plan and would let you know what to eat at a certain period.</p>
<p>Have a healthy breakfast. A lot of people skip their breakfast for a lot of reasons. And when you are on a diet, skipping breakfast is more reinforced. What is a lot of people don&#8217;t know is that it is the most important meal of the day because it is where you get most of your energy. Having fresh fruits and vegetables will help you through your goal of losing weight as these foods are rich in fiber that is also good in flushing body wastes including fats.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t cheat on your diet plans. They will mean nothing if you keep on cheating and eating those oh-so-scrumptious foods. You can have your reward occasionally but be sure not to go overboard.</p>
<p>Dont&#8217;s:</p>
<p>Do not starve yourself. Just because you are on a diet doesn&#8217;t mean that you should not eat the right amount of food. What you really need is a balanced diet and eat from all food groups. Just watch on the calories. Plus, when you starve yourself, you&#8217;ll eventually have a bigger appetite when you start to feel that you really NEED to eat.</p>
<p>Do not drink carbonated drinks. Those are culprits full of calories.</p>
<p>Do not get overboard. Although you want fast results, what they tell is almost always true: &#8220;slowly but surely.&#8221; Take it easy. Sometimes, taking it too fast can result to complications that you would not want to have. If you want it really soon, then seek help from experts who will guide you through the process without compromising your health.</p>
<p>Weight loss shouldn&#8217;t be your only goal in pursuing a slimmer shape. Fitness is the key. Being fit comes not only by having to lose those fats but by feeling good as well. Stick to diet plans or fitness trainings that will really help you attain your goal. You&#8217;ll never face the same weight problem again once you do it properly.</p>
