It's the daily grind, the money-maker, and the way to make your ends meet. Should you cave in to the evil junk food and its constant availability, you pay the consequences by the end of the day when you get home. Tired and out of energy.]]></description>

<p>Truthfully, you are realizing that you need more energy throughout the day. Even though you just can&#8217;t give the time to stop by the gym, you question how the heck that pair of love handles took the time to visit your body! It is time to smell the roses, my friend, because they are wilting, and they are wilting fast. And, like the roses, you are wilting, too. So, a part of you feels that you should do something now to snap out of this rut. You just have no idea what it will take for you to start.</p>
<p>Here is a problem I have the slightest doubt a couple of you are dealing with: the commute home. It must be tearing at you, this yearning for a home-cooked meal that you haven&#8217;t even cooked yet. But, sadly, you are in traffic, and you are going to stay in it for at least 45 minutes to an hour. Here&#8217;s another scenario that I myself have faced: yo-yo dieting. Someone on the radio said you would easily lose ten pounds of fat as long as you only ate proteins in two weeks, or as long as you took this caffeine supplement with a picture of a hot and slim model on it. Nevermind the fine print about actually having to exercise.</p>
<p>Everyone is dealing with the bad economy one way or another, and because of this we are all cautious about what is necessary for spending. We immediately think about what is unnecessary to buy after all, and a gym membership can possibly be one of those things. What doesn&#8217;t help is the experience of paying for the gym being way too similar to buying a new car at a dealership. Many people around me have either been made redundant or have spouses who have been made redundant. Being unemployed has affected a lot of them negatively, as they haven&#8217;t been able to land a new job. <p>If you&#8217;re like 99% of the bodybuilding population out there, your ultimate goal is simple: an impressively muscular physique with razor-sharp definition to match.</p>
<p>This desire for the perfect body makes many people dive headlong into an exercise regimen. Everyone wants to bulk up, and bulk up fast, but at the same time they&#8217;re also worried about gaining the extra bulk of body fat.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re going for a significant muscle gain as quickly as possible, you&#8217;re always going to end up gaining body fat to go along with it.</p>
<p>This is simply the nature of the entire process and if you really want to travel a significant way in the &#8220;bulking&#8221; direction, you have to be willing to accept this.</p>
<p>The reason for this is because in order to gain muscle mass, you have to consume a surplus of calories to support the necessary protein synthesis. The difficulty is that there&#8217;s no way to ensure that 100% of all these extra calories go towards muscle growth. Some of it will inevitably end up as stored body fat.</p>
<p>If you want to make dramatic changes to your appearance over the shortest period of time, it is always best to focus on gaining size for a set period of time, followed by focusing on losing body fat for a set period of time.</p>
<p>You never want to lose body fat during the bulking phase. You simply want to gain as little as possible.</p>
<p>There are three main tips to accomplish this:</p>
<p>1) Make sure that your caloric surplus is limited to a precise amount. Because this surplus is what fuels muscle growth, it&#8217;s tempting to eat too much in the mistaken belief that this will help you gain muscle tissue, but actually the only thing you&#8217;ll gain with haphazard eating is body fat.</p>
<p>The general rule of thumb for muscle gain is to take 15-20% more calories than you need to keep your weight. If you are already within this range, there&#8217;s no need for you to add more.</p>
<p>2) Make good food choices. Most of your food intake should be in the form of high quality lean proteins, healthy/unsaturated fats and natural, high fiber carbohydrates.</p>
<p>Rather than aimlessly chowing down on every food item in sight, make sure that you&#8217;re sticking to lean protein sources, keeping blood sugar levels stable through proper carbohydrate choices, and avoiding high amounts of saturated fats.</p>
<p>3) Implement cardio sessions. While you don&#8217;t have to push yourself too hard, having a few cardio sessions during the week is a good way to minimize fat gains during a bulking cycle.</p>
<p>Keep these sessions no more than 10-20 minutes long, sticking to high intensity/low duration forms, as these kinds of session have the advantage of not causing the same amount of muscle loss as longer duration forms.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;re at a size you&#8217;re happy with and the muscle gain you want, you can focus your attention on losing that body fat. However, you want to keep working to avoid losing the muscle you&#8217;ve just gained. And remember that while bulking up, you&#8217;re going to gain body fat. There&#8217;s simply no way around it.</p>
<p>However, just keep in mind that while bulking up, gaining some body fat is inevitable and the trick is simply to minimize it rather than totally avoid it.</p>

<p>You&#8217;ll also find that you will be avoiding things that are overly sugary and overly processed as well. When you eat too many sugars and consume too many processed foods, you will find that you will be putting on fat rather than muscle. Instead, concentrate on proteins and what they can do for you. Natural protein is literally the only way that you can heal up the torn muscle fiber that results when you work out a lot.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a couple of things you must never forget: first, there are no easy routes to Natural Bodybuilding. Second, this program will allow you to make significant yet natural changes to your life. Rather than something that is going to go away the minute that you break a cycle, it will be real progress.</p>
<p>Think about building muscle in a healthy manner, rather than in a way that could leave you injured.</p>

<p>Now that you have decided to bulk up with additional muscle mass you must have a plan that works. Weight training is essential if you want to add muscle to your body. What is not as obvious to most people is the need for correct, healthy eating. It takes healthy nutrition to build the muscles that you want.</p>
<p>You can use this brief guide to learn what you need to add to your diet. First let?s review the basics for a sensible diet that will help you build muscle mass quickly.</p>
<p>You need to eat regularly if you want to build muscle mass and get stronger. The best plan is for you to switch to 5-7 meals each day. Muscles burn more calories than fat and you need to keep your bigger muscles supplied with the fuel they need so that they can grow even larger and stronger.</p>
<p>There is no way that your body can build muscle if you are not providing enough calories. Making the jump from 3-4 meals to 5-7 is easier to do if the meals are slightly smaller, but still nutritionally rich. Then you are fueling your body but you are not stuffing yourself to the point of being uncomfortable.</p>
<p>Now is the time to eliminate junk foods from your diet. Most people have some guilty vices and junk foods are one of the most common. If you are eating processed sweets, gooey doughnuts or swigging carbonated soft drinks in between meals you need to stop these habits now.</p>
<p>Thirdly, you will need to drink a good deal more water than you had been doing before. try to keep a bottle of water to hand at all times, perhaps leave one in your car. nearly all reactions in the body require water to some degree and that includes muscle building reactions also.</p>
<p>Your meals should be composed of carbs, proteins and a small amount of fats. These are all essential for building solid muscle. A good rule of thumb is to split your meals so that each one is about 50% carbs, 35-40% protein, with fats making up the final 10-15%.</p>
<p>Fifthly, you need to learn what foods you should be eating for muscle growth. Here is a start to illustrate what some of the best muscle building foods are:</p>
<p>For protein: turkey, chicken, fish and shellfish, eggs, red meats, dairy products. These are brilliant sources of quality protein so include them in your daily meals as regularly as you can.</p>
<p>Some of these foods also have high levels of saturated fats. This means that you should use them wisely. Remember that you can balance your diet by using more egg whites, low fat dairy products and lean white meats.</p>
<p>Carbs help you provide your body with energy that is necessary for grueling workouts. Look for whole wheat products, brown rice, oatmeal, pastas, breads and cereals. If you need quick energy you can eat some fresh fruit or try one of the healthy sports drinks with a high carb count.</p>
<p>There is no need to try and target certain fats for your diet, because there is adequate fat in the food choices that are listed. If you eat a well balanced meal the required amount of fat will be included. Do not neglect to include some green and yellow veggies because these are high in vitamins and other nutrients. You might also consider purchasing some of the muscle building supplement products that are currently available. These contain vitamins, protein, creatine and fatty acids that your body needs.</p>
<p>Meals must be timed for maximum effect. If you want to successfully build muscle mass and strength you will need to make sure that you eat before going to bed, within the first hour after a workout and when you first wake up in the morning. If you follow these suggestions that deal with a muscle building diet you should start noticing the difference in your body in a very short period of time.</p>
