			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Most of us know the importance of starting our day with a healthy balanced breakfast and yet, so many of us either do not make time for it or consumes primarily foods high in sugar and fat. According to an ABC News poll only 54% of people under the age of 55 eat breakfast at all. So, why are we skipping a meal that does so much for us including: help to maintain our weight, increase our metabolism and assist with concentration? The most common reasons I have heard are lack of time and because it is not an ingrained habit.<br />
Here are 10 easy ways to become a member of the breakfast club. </p>
<p>1. Don’t eat too close to bedtime. Some experts advise stopping all eating two hours before retiring. You can try this or go by how you feel. You should be comfortable but not stuffed. Herbal teas before bed are both relaxing and keep you from mindless snacking. Not eating before sleep helps to ensure you not only sleep well but wake up with a healthy appetite. </p>
<p>2. Have a glass of water upon rising. It revs up the metabolism and gets the digestive system primed; alerting your body food is to come. Squeeze some lemon in it if you wish!  </p>
<p>3. Have healthy, real, easy to prepare food available. In a world with so many highly processed, heavily sugar and fat laden foods that are there for the taking we should remember how easy it is to get truly nutritious foods in during the first meal of the day. Make a point to have fruits available, preferably fresh or frozen, and an assortment of your favorite go to breakfast favorites. These might include whole grains, eggs, and dairy or dairy substitutes. </p>
<p>4. This is the perfect meal to get a in a serving of fruit, especially if you do not snack between meals. To get that much needed fiber, try to go for the whole fruit as opposed to the juice on most days and save small glasses of juice for once in a while occasions.  </p>
<p>5. Try to get a good balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat. This will provide the energy you need to start the day and keep you full until lunch without weighing you down.  </p>
<p>6. Think out of the breakfast box. In Japan breakfasts include soup, rice, fish, pickles, and seaweed. In China small amounts of meat and vegetables are eaten. Breakfast is not limited to foods like pancakes and waffles. A hearty vegetable soup with vine ripened sweet tomatoes as its base makes for a deeply soul satisfying morning meal. If eggs and toast are not your thing look to other foods you enjoy and balance them accordingly. </p>
<p>7. Experiment with how eating breakfast makes you feel. Try having oatmeal and berries one morning and pay attention to your energy, concentration and satiety levels. Another day have white bread toast and apple juice and do the same thing. You will find your health and moods drastically affected by making the right choices for you. (I bet you never do the white bread breakfast again either!) </p>
<p>8. Make breakfast an enjoyable experience, something you look forward to eating. This might mean a serene meal before the rest of your household gets up or a joyful meal shared with the family. Eating breakfast is a simple ritual that can enhance our lives if honored as such. </p>
<p>9. If it must be a breakfast on the go, stop at the grocery market and not the drive thru. There are so many healthy choices at the market including fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, granola bars and, depending on the store, you can even get whole grained baked goods if there is a bakery there. There is nothing to recommend from a fast food breakfast, in my opinion, and I can’t think of a situation I would advise making that your choice. </p>
<p>10. Get adventurous! If breakfast means corn flakes to you try a mango smoothie instead. If oatmeal makes you feel heavy and sluggish try a spinach and egg muffin. Try having breakfast in your pajamas one day and fully dressed the next. Light candles on the breakfast table or crank some peppy pop tunes. Consider starting a morning tradition of sharing what each person at the table is most looking forward to that day. The best way to reinforce good habits is to make them something you look forward to doing. You are not just making a meal; you are creating moments and memories. </p>
<p>Dining well is considered one of life’s greatest pleasures and it seems we reserve that joy for the evening meal and the occasional brunch. We can though welcome breakfast to our lives with open arms and a smile…like greeting a new friend who comes bearing a special gift. When friends stop by we feed them. <p>Fruits and Vegetables. With respects to your personal allergies, your food choices should involve variety as a high priority. You may already know that eating vegetables and fruits are good for you.</p>
<p>When you include a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in your diet, you ensure that you get all of the different vitamins and minerals you need to keep your heart and the rest of your body healthy. Eat as many different types of vegetables as you can each day. Fruit and vegetable intake in a healthy and safe diet plan should consist of around 80% vegetables and 20% fruit.</p>
<p>Another benefit of eating plenty of fruits and vegetables is that they are also rich in dietary fiber, which is one of the important components of any healthy and safe diet plan. Fiber helps keep your metabolism higher, improves digestion and is beneficial all around. A great diet plan for your heart should include ample amounts of fiber.</p>

<p>Limit your sodium intake; sodium tends to raise blood pressure, which puts strain on your heart. Sugar should also be kept to a minimum, since it can lead to weight gain and any excess weight you carry also forces your heart to work harder.</p>
<p>Protein should come from low fat meats like poultry, fish and lean pork or beef. Beans are also an excellent source. Eggs also offer high quality protein, though remember that egg yolks should be consumed only sparingly.</p>
<p>Work fish into your safe diet plan at least twice a week. Not only are fish a good source of protein, they are also rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, which help protect heart health. You can also get Omega-3s from peanuts, tree nuts and flax seed.</p>
<p>Choose low fat dairy to add to your great diet plan for heart health. Dairy products are a good source of protein and healthy fats. Other good sources of healthy fats include fish, nuts and monounsaturated vegetable oils like olive oil. Avoid trans fats and saturated fats, however &#8211; these are not good for your heart.</p>
<p>Water and Exercise. Drinking plenty of water as part of your heart healthy diet plan. Water makes up more than 70 percent of your body mass and is essential for healthy heart and blood function.</p>
<p>Although it may not be your favorite thing, aerobic exercise still has to be a major part of any heart-safe diet plan. Thirty minutes of continuous aerobic activity should be practiced at least two to three times weekly for you to experience heart health benefits. Exercise should also be used as a major tool to control your weight at a healthy balance for your height. This can increase heart strength and health.</p>

<p>Exercise, as most of us must be aware of, helps in boosting the metabolism immediately and for long term too. You can incorporate cardiovascular exercises in your daily routine, as it helps the body burn fat effectively. You can integrate swimming, cycling or running as well, depending on your preference. If you&#8217;re on the heavier side, of course you should eat less fatty foods. Instead, go for better food options like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and low fat yogurts.</p>
<p>If you stick to a balanced, low-fat diet, you will be this much closer to getting six pack abs.</p>
<p>2. Creating a general exercise strategy. When planning your exercise strategy around how to get abs, you must consider three aspects &#8212; where, when, and how you work out. It is important to choose an environment that is most advantageous for you.</p>
<p>If doing full body exercises with other people inspires you more, you can join a gym of your choice or enroll in a fitness class. But it&#8217;s just as effective working in the privacy and convenience of your home if you are shy.</p>
<p>As far as time goes, it really depends what time of day you feel you&#8217;re at your most productive state. Some prefer exercising before going to work, some would do it right after. The most important thing is that you work out at a consistent time.</p>
<p>3. Performing exercises that target your abs. The last aspect on how to get abs consists of targeted abdominal exercises. Doing crunches, sit ups, and bicycles regularly will get that midsection toned and ripped in no time.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s probably going to be some point in time that you want to get a better body, and you want to improve your overall health. If you find yourself in this situation then it&#8217;s probably a good idea to get into some natural Bodybuilding. This is basically a way of losing fat, getting more muscle, and having a much healthier existence without needing to use steroids.</p>
<p>When you take substances like that, you are putting your progress and your health on the line. When you want to see steady improvement and the ability to maintain the shape that you are in, it is time to turn to Natural Bodybuilding.</p>
<p>The art of Natural Bodybuilding may be regarded as a way to return to your body something that it already had the ability to obtain. Steroids and the like don&#8217;t belong in your body, and we do not develop these in nature, nor do we need them in nature. Muscles are something that occurred because we needed them as a species. With a lot of work we can get them again.</p>

<p>You need to make sure that you are monitoring what you are eating and how it is affecting you. For Natural Bodybuilding, you&#8217;ll find that for the most part, your foods will break down into 30% protein, 20% healthy oils and 50% natural carbohydrates.</p>
<p>You need to stay away from the foods that contain way too much sugar or are processed in some way. Eating far too many such foods will give you a nice layer of fat, and as you know fat is not muscle. For this reason you need to watch what you&#8217;re doing because that is quite contrary to what you are trying to do.</p>
<p>Rather than eating those foods, you should try focusing your attention on proteins because they can do a lot more for you. Natural protein will heal up torn muscles, which will happen quite a bit when you work out.</p>
<p>If you are thinking about Natural Bodybuilding, you&#8217;ll find that there are no short-cuts. Instead, what you get is a program that will help you effect great and natural change in your life.</p>
