<p>It can be done, and today I&#8217;m going to show you a <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/mgt" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/mgt';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">Weight Lifting</a> <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseequipment" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseequipment';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">Exercise</a> that will get you there faster than you thought you could. The only thing you&#8217;re going to need is a regular barbell and a flat surface to lay on. Sounds simple enough, right?</p>
<p>What you&#8217;re going to want to do is make sure that the bar you choose has as much weight as it possibly can. Once you have done this, pick it up and keep your back perfectly straight. This might sound simple, but it is the best upper body <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exercisetips" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exercisetips';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">exercise</a> you can do, and it is called the deadlift.</p>
<p>If your goal is to gain as much <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Musclegain" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Musclegain';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">muscle</a> mass as possible, in the shortest time possible, the the deadlift is definitely the way to go.</p>
<p>The deadlift has the ability to work out your entire body. It is a basic movement that will be able to stretch all of the muscles in your body at once.</p>
<p>The areas that are being concentrated on for the most part are the upper and lower back, as well as the thighs. But guess what, the deadlift really does affect the entire body, and this is something that you are definitely going to notice once you start doing it on a regular basis.</p>
<p>There are a couple of different ways to do the deadlift, however that is outside the scope of this article. We are going to take a look at the standard bent-legged type. So let&#8217;s have a look at the proper way to do it shall we?</p>
<p>Make sure that you feet are apart, and that they are the width of your shoulders. Once this is done grab the bar of the weight with your hands, but make sure that your hands are right outside of your legs. There are two ways you can do this, you can have an overhand grip, or you can grip it with one palm inward, and one facing outward. This is totally up to you</p>
<p>Begin your workout in a squatted position, and keep the bar near your shins. Making sure that you maintain a flat back, tight abs, and staring straight ahead, lift upward, pushing up with your legs.</p>
<p>Once you have done that, then you should pull upward on your weight until you are fully standing. Next you should lower the weight in the exact same manner as you picked it up.</p>
<p>Put the weights on the ground, regain your composure, and then pull upward again after a deep breath. Do this until your muscles fail, or until you generally begin to slip.</p>
<p>Making sure that you maintain a decent form is very important when you are doing these deadlifts. You need to be able to lift quite a bit of weight, but you don&#8217;t want to hurt yourself in the process.</p>
<p>Most importantly, make sure that your back is always straight. On top of that, make sure that the weight is as close to the body as it can be. Make sure that your abs are tight so that you do not put much stress on your lower back.</p>
<p>Do this over and over so that you get the whole thing down pat, and once you are familiar with it, then you can start going a little heavier. Lifting straps may be a good idea when you do your deadlifts because it will keep your grip from fading early on.</p>
<p>It is recommended that you do this approximately one time per week, but the big question is how many repetitions should you actually do per set. Deadlifts are a pretty effective <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/mgt" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/mgt';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">Weight Lifting</a> Exercise, and they&#8217;ll help you out regardless of how many repetitions you actually do. It is recommended that you do five to seven, though there are people that do as many as twenty.</p>
<p>Mess around with it, and see which system is best. Make sure that you do this respectfully, and be ready for a life changing experience.</p>

Many body builders are under the impression that the best way to do this is through bench presses. While this <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exercisetips" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exercisetips';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">exercise</a> does in fact work the pectoral, muscles there are other <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseequipment" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseequipment';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">exercises</a> needed to get a truly refined look.</p>
<p>To build a well-defined chest here are a few simple weight exercises you can do:</p>
<p>•	High Cable crossovers- This exercise will work the difficult to reach inner Pecs<br />
•	Low Cable crossovers- Another inner pec exercise the key is the correct amount of tension<br />
•	Bench press- Wide grip, your wide spaced handling will work the lower pectoral<br />
•	Bench press- Close grip, this will work the inner Pecs quite well, however the movement will also work triceps and upper chest<br />
• Dumbbell Flyers- Works the inner pectoral muscles but you really have to squeeze them together. Alternate this on incline, decline, and flat bench<br />
•	Dips- Depending on elbow position, you can work either the inner or the outer Pecs.</p>
<p>These are a few good chest muscle exercises, varying your workout will decrease the likely hood of you reaching a plateau. Now it is important that you also realize that nutrition and rest are equally important.</p>
<p>Nutrition</p>
<p>When you are building muscle, nutrition is as important as <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/mgt" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/mgt';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">weight lifting</a>. When you lift weights, you are actually tearing muscle tissue. To repair the muscle and thereby make it larger your body requires protein and complex carbohydrates. It is also a good idea to increase your vitamin and mineral intake.</p>
<p>Hydration is also important for any workout <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/bodybuildingroutines" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/bodybuildingroutines';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">routine</a>. The body requires water to provide nutrition to the cells, eliminate waste, and regulate internal body temperature. In addition to all these, water also cushions the joints and protects major internal organs. Increase your water intake above the recommended daily amount as strenuous exercise quickly depletes fluid levels.</p>
<p>Rest</p>
<p>Equally important to a good bodybuilding is getting the correct amount of rest. Some product marketers have pushed the idea that sleep is detrimental to muscle building, claiming that a catabolic happening can occur while sleeping. This is where the muscle wastes away; this however is a false claim by marketers wanting to sell their product. Not only is this an outright lie, it can lead to serious repercussions both mentally and physically.</p>
<p>Sleep is your body&#8217;s way of regenerating and healing itself, without sleep your muscles will not heal properly and all your work will have been for nothing. Not to mention the fact that you will be fatigued and enable to complete future <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Exercise" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Exercise';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">training</a> sessions.</p>
<p>Finally</p>
<p>Bring all of the above elements together and you will quickly build muscle and have the solid chest you have always wanted. Eat right, diversify your routine, and get plenty of sleep to make the most of your body building sessions.</p>

You&#8217;ll see machines, pills, fad diets, and <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Abworkouts" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Abworkouts';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">workouts</a> that promise to give you that <strong>six pack abs</strong> of your dreams. While there is no shortage of theories, do any of them really work?</p>
<p>The vast majority of these fads do not last very long. They are exposed for what they are and people move on to the next breakthrough invention. If most of these fail, is there any way to get flat abs? Is there any hope?</p>
<p>The truth is, the best way to get a six pack is with a time tested approach. You might not want to hear this, but the best way to achieve this goal is through a healthy <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Dietfitness" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Dietfitness';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">diet</a> and an <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Exercise" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/Exercise';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">exercise</a> program. There really aren&#8217;t any legitimate shortcuts to getting the body of your dreams. If you do find a way to drop a few pounds quickly, the weight will probably come back just as quickly.</p>
<p>Now that we know you&#8217;re going to have to exercise, what types of <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseto" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseto';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">exercises</a> should you do? Should you just get on the ground and start doing thousands of crunches? Will this give you the six pack of your dreams? Actually it won&#8217;t do much at first. Your ab muscles are probably covered up by a layer of fat. This means that if you want to see those abs, you have to get rid of the fat first. So how do you get rid of the fat?</p>
<p>Most people believe that they should get on the treadmill and do hours of cardio. However, this is a common misconception as well. The best way to burn fat quickly is through the use of interval <a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseequipment" style=""   onmouseover="self.status='http://www.musclegaintruth.us/go/exerciseequipment';return true;" onmouseout="self.status=''">training</a> and weight training. Weight training burns calories while you work out,<a href="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/6-pack-abs.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-2024 alignright" title="6-pack-abs" src="http://www.musclegaintruth.us/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/6-pack-abs-300x199.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="199" /></a> but it also helps you burn calories when you are resting as well. When your muscles start to develop they will be like little incinerators that are always burning calories in order to replenish themselves. This will decrease the amount of time that it takes you to burn fat. In addition to weight training, mixing in a short burst sprinting workout in is a good idea as well.</p>
<p>Besides the right exercises, you should also try to eat healthier as well. If you&#8217;re always on the couch, cramming your face full of nachos and beer, you probably won&#8217;t be getting a six pack anytime soon. Getting different results in your life requires you to take different actions. If you want a six pack, you&#8217;ll need to change what you&#8217;re eating. Eat healthy foods and drink a lot of water. Put good things into your body and it will give you good results.</p>
<p>Overall, obtaining a six pack is very achievable. Just don&#8217;t expect it to be easy. You&#8217;re not going to wake up tomorrow with a six pack. This can be a lengthy process, depending on how much fat you have to lose. Just know that it can be done if you stick with it.</p>
